Meet Our Founder
Jeffrey Mallinson
JM Technical Writing was founded by a former senior manager in corporate hospitality, working within complex, high-pressure environments for leading global hotel and hospitality brands. Alongside front-of-house and operational leadership responsibilities, this role involved the development and maintenance of internal business documentation.
Over time, documentation work became increasingly central: translating operational reality into clear, structured materials that could be implemented consistently, audited, and scaled. This experience exposed a wider gap beyond hospitality.
The decision to move into freelance work was a natural progression. By stepping outside a single organisation, the focus expanded to supporting other businesses with the same structured, standards-driven approach.
